On becoming Sneaky Jax

Dear gentle Pawreaders-Welcome to the Sneaky Jax Blog!

I wanted to take this opportunity to create a platform for all my fans, friends and followers, as well as canine friends who are out there living their best lives thanks to our humans and share some of my adventures in this world.

Let me introduce myself: my name is Jax Teller and I am chiweenie from SoCal. I was born most likely somewhere in the beautiful sprawling city of Los Angeles, California in 2014. I keep my origins a mystery (and maybe for another post where I will share some hypothesises). In February 2015, I was snatched up by the stray dogs association of Los Angeles and dumped in puppy-jail.

It was loud, it was hot (because we are still in California), and I shared my cell with 2 other poodle and mixed breed inmates. I think they fed us, but I was too terrified because it smelled like there were a lot of other big dogs nearby and man were they barking up a storm.

What felt like eternity (or maybe right away?) a human came up to my cell, and I ever so gently scratched at her finger, telling her to get me out of there. She left and returned, left and returned, by the third time, she had another human with her, who said: "Sorry, we only picked this one up today, she needs to stay here for a week in case her owners come looking for her". --well and that was it.10965333_10155200546060154_1688371647_n

I was left to rot in puppy jail for an entire "week" which whatever that increment is, felt like 49 sunrises and sunsets...I was so tired and I had almost lost hope that I would be stuck in prison forever. And then, she re-appeared. I was so happy to see her! I scratched at my prison bars, and, then right when I thought my suffering had come to an end: everything went black.

The next thing I remember, is being so tired and woozy, I was unable to move, my paws did not feel as usual and I felt heavy. I had gotten a very inconvenient necklace, and my belly hurt. And there was the human again, who took me into her arms and then laid me on her car seat and drove me to what was to become my furever home.

I slowly came back to my senses, and my belly really hurt and I had a scar. I must've been abducted by aliens and so here I was on my new couch with my new human, who was going to become my family and my best friend. Stay tuned to hear more about how my life continued.
